Iranian Scientist executed for divulging nuclear secrets to US...

My opinion is Iranians can do what they want but please stay away from me while they do it.

Executed for treason sounds like justice to me. Too bad we refuse to legally enforce the same punishment for this crime- we just turn a blind eye.

Holy fuck.

An email forwarded to Clinton by senior adviser Jake Sullivan on July 5, 2010 — just nine days before Amiri returned to Tehran — appears to reference the scientist.

"We have a diplomatic, 'psychological' issue, not a legal one. Our friend has to be given a way out," the email by Richard Morningstar, a former State Department special envoy for Eurasian energy, read. "We should recognize his concerns and frame it in terms of a misunderstanding with no malevolent intent and that we will make sure there is no recurrence.

"Our person won't be able to do anything anyway. If he has to leave so be it."

Another email, sent by Sullivan on July 12, 2010, appears to obliquely refer to the scientist just hours before his story became widely known.

"The gentleman ... has apparently gone to his country's interests section because he is unhappy with how much time it has taken to facilitate his departure," Sullivan wrote. "This could lead to problematic news stories in the next 24 hours."

It's also stated that he was intercepted by US and Saudi authorities en route to SA holy sites, then interrogated with Israeli officials present.

Make the movie already.

That's barbaric, the US would just lock you up for life with no trial.

The guy defected to the US for money. When Iran found out they threatened his family so he went back.

Chelsea? Pretty sure she came out a while ago.

"One of the non-classified Hillary Clinton emails released by the State Department last year may have convinced the Iranian government that a nuclear scientist who claimed he was kidnapped by the CIA was actually a defector and spy for the US."

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/02/politics/clinton-email-shahram-amiri/

"Hillary Clinton emails released by the State Department appear to lift the curtain on the bizarre circumstances surrounding Shahram Amiri, an Iranian nuclear scientist who claims to have been abducted by the CIA.

The just-released emails, which were sent to Clinton back in 2010, seem to support what State Department sources have long maintained: that Amiri was not abducted, but a defector and paid informant who changed his mind about helping the U.S.

The emails also appear to offer insight into the department's plans to get Amiri back to Iran safely."

When is Manning coming out?
He got 35 years with a chance of parole after 8. Far from throwing away the key without a trial like the person I quoted said.

Did he actually share info or was it beaten out of him by CIA and Mossad?

And why does it matter? Iran is far behind. They have nothing to hide.

apparantly one of hillarys emails reffered to him and thats how they found out.

I'm sure Hillary will pull out the ol "we came, we saw, he died" line.
