Is it possible to check threads for identical IP's from different poster on the same thread?

Admins (and sometimes mods) are able to see each poster's IP. It is a standard forum feature.

So we the uniformed masses have no clue, or the ablity to warm ourselves with the glow of knowlege as to who on a thread is a post whore pushing their own agenda. :icon_twis

Sorry, I thought you were asking if it was possible for mods to check ips.

Correct: Regular members cannot check ip addresses of other members.
