IS the info in this sound? Seems a little off, but I don't know any of this science
dave palumbo preaches the same thing. i feel that if you take in some alkaline foods such as veggies in meals then this might not be as big of an issue. from what i remember when i looked those things up a little while back, they're expensive as hell and i'm not sure the benefits justifies the price.
Here's my problem with the whole alkaline diet thing.
1. Everything you eat, before it leaves the stomach is rendered neutral by your stomach acids. So before your body absorbs anything, be it acidic or alkaline it is rendered neutral.
2. Testing for acids in urine to determine blood acidity is useless. Your blood is kept in a slightly alkaline level naturally. If you blood goes acidic at all you would be in the hospital with some serious problems. Your urine is the excretion of the bad shit your bodies trying to get rid of, and not a accurate look of whats actually going on inside your system.
That being said, eat your vegetables.
