The power scaling on this show is killing me. As others have said. It’s so frustratingly inconsistent.

Mauler Twins are all over the map, even in one episode this season.
It has been like that since S1. Omni man gets knocked back by fucking batarangs from knock off Batman but then later tanks a space laser, only to get beat up a bit by the reanimen, then to shrug off multiple missile hits from jet fighters. This is also the same guy who basically turned himself into a nuke to destroy an alien planet.

an Amyl & the Sniffers needle drop def wasn’t on my Invincible s3 bingo card, so that was an unexpected surprise. thumbs up to whoever the music supervisors are

I wanted to see him doing nothing but no sells until he squared off with another Viltrumite
Still feel this way. Invincible constantly being called the strongest on the planet, but us seeing him lose to many multiple earth villains, makes the praise feel hollow

I don’t even know if he’s top 10 on earth

Mark getting his ass kicked again? If he has really gotten stronger, he must just really suck at fighting. Viltrumites are supposed to get stronger after huge ass kickings so he should be really strong right now.

Mark should be stronger the Immortal, who's the only other guy in the Guardians who can match up to him. But seeing how the dragon guy handled Mark, it seems the Dragon could have easily taken over the planet. Dragon guy beat up a stronger Mark than the one that had an even fight against that Viltrumite lady with the knife in her hair.

Machine head is one of the goat characters. Looking back, him somehow employing battle beast in s1 is hilarious.

He was the only good thing about e4.

I'm interested in the main viltrum plot but the earth plot filler keeps dragging the show down.

Plus they had a whole scene with some cursed mummy getting let out in season 2 and just never did anything with it.

I think it'd be a better show overall if the plot was 70/30 viltrumite plotline vs other stuff.

Invincible war is looming hard. Last few episodes should pop off

I was glad to see this character come back one of funnier villains of this series and steals the show.

It seems to me that Mark is holding back at this point, probably a lot. I think he is afraid he will turn into his dad and just start killing everyone without remorse.

Really enjoyed the new episode.

So far my biggest complaint of this season is.... Mark and Eve are going WAY too fast in their relationship.
At the end of the last season Future-Eve told Mark she loved her... back then. And Mark leaves it up in the air when he meets up with 'his' Eve in his universe. So it was an interesting 'will they or won't they.'

And that answer was established FAR too quickly, with Mark being too blunt to Eve about 'Future-Eve' and still getting together.
Ep4 they went for a second attempt at a second date.... to sleeping together that night... in his mom's house.... with his mom and brother there.
{<hhh]
Okay... you're kidding right?
They just flew to multiple locations throughout the world, because they're both superheroes, and they feel the need to consumate their relationship.
Aug...I don't need to type out all the reasons why its stupid.
And it seems like a contrived explanation just to have the not-at-all-funny scene with Mark, his mom, Oliver, and Eve while eating pancakes.
And they're starting a business, and were getting an apartment until wisely deciding not to get an apartment.

Their relationship was going 100MPH, and now they're only going 70MPH.

I know a vague outline of their relationship from the comics, but I wish they would have made it less obvious.

i wonder if they have time to round out the season with the invincible war and at least the introduction of conquest

I get holding back, but you shouldn't be in life or death struggles against lower level villains who going around killing people if you have to hold back from killing them. Unless Mark just sucks at fighting and doesn't know how to control his power to fight at the level of his opponents. Omni man easily took out villains without killing them when he was pretending to be a good guy so maybe Mark isn't there yet.

My prediction is that they'll have the invincible war this season and end the season with the introduction of Conquest, making us wait another year for the big showdown.
