Im not talking some drunken roll in the hay at a college party. but legit ,took home to meet mom and dad type dating? I noticed when I use to date white girls it would always seem like they were trying their damdest to "act black" or be overly, and overtly into BET,hip hop, spinning rims shit like that.

I even had one that went and got extensions aka weave in her hair. and she had hair down her back to begin with ffs. Anyway what's your experience? If you dated a Latino chick did you start trying to talk Spanglish? Hate to admit that I did when I met my girls people. I remember trying to use my seventh grade Spanish in conversation and pretending I was into all things Puerto Rican. when in actuality all I knew about Puerto Rico was menudo(no romo). What say you?

Yeah it's weird because my mom who is white.....Never seemed crazy about me dating black girls. I was always think well how'd you mentally reconcile getting with my dad who looks like Bill duke just darker.

Anyway I tell any new in laws I might me that I'm Cuban lol.

My wife is a first generation Latina. I am white as a ghost. We're both college educated, but her parents were dirt poor immigrants who stI'll speak very little English. I had been taking Spanish since high school and was fluent when I met her in undergrad. I didn't play up or exaggerate my Spanish, but it's definitely something that attracted her to me. It also allows me to have a great relationship with her parents and really get to know them as people. Something that would have been very difficult if I didn't speak Spanish. Her mom loves me because I have a respect for their culture and well, her cooking is awesome too.

I've dated black, white, and latinas. I used to live right next to the african american community so I went thru a phase for a while and everyone pretty much thought of me as black back in the day. I never had a problem fitting in with any peoples tho.

Change? No. My girlfriend is from Guatemala and I try to learn some Spanish for her but she doesn't push me to.

I grew up in south Texas and it was pretty segragrated, in that the Hispanic kids would mainly hang out with Hispanics and black kids and white kids would stay with white kids. There were a few anomalies but that is how it was.

As seniors in high school my friends and I started dating the white girls. I mean we were upper middle class Latino boys. We had bad ass trucks I had a brand new bronco 2. As I said before I lived near padre island and Mexico. We were always going to padre to surf the meager waves and hang out on the beach.

After the beach we would go to party in Mexico. The chicks would call us all the time to see if they could hang out with us. I was a dumb kid at this time. Anyway we were always down to party and always had good weed and beer. We could also get mdma or acid any time we wanted.

Well the white chicks found out that we could be fun and started wanting to hang out with us our senior year. Those white guys were enraged.

Any way. I still find Latinas more attractive than white girls. While some white girls are fine as fuck the Latina is where it's at.

My wife is Latina and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I try to learn as much about them as possible and if there's a language barrier I'd work on it but I won't change my personality or mannerisms.

But I'm getting older at this point and losing my desire to adapt. A decade ago I would of done a lot of things I wouldn't today for an attractive woman's attention.

My fiancee is Latvian, I am Asian. I'm westernized by virtue of being educated and worked in Canada for 20 years, but now she is getting easternized (lol racist chrome spellchecked easternize) by learning Chinese.

Old people here stare at us once a while, but that's about it, most people are very friendly with us.

I'm white. I took a Mexican girl to the prom. Our relationship did not last long. She had a temper/attitude like no girl I'd ever met.

I did like a black girl that I met in college. She was a very nice girl. But I didn't have the guts to ask her out. My mom would have not been happy. Looking back I should have asked her out. I was not around many blacks growing up. And I don't think I had ever seen an interacial couple. This is mid to late nineties.

But that's in the past, I'm very happily married to a great girl.


I will say this, if I ever go to a basketball game and sit near any black guys and conversate about basketball, I start feeling their vibe and they often call me white chocolate.
