So I was eating lunch at my desk and watching European beach walk videos on youtube when I started wondering what my explanation would be if anyone asked about my browsing history. I quickly came up with the excuse I was researching places to visit in Europe and wanted to see what the beaches were like before I went. Not sure that would explain all the topless girls in the videos, but hey it seemed plausible enough.

Do you guys watch questionable videos or browse inappropriate websites at work? If so what would you say if you got caught?

I don't use my boss' computer for Sherdog anymore, she really wasn't happy when I left it open once. She's a very very feminist feminist. I do on the other two desks I cover though and if she's on a break I just use my ipad.

I mean, I've written actual reports for my employers on how escort and rub & tug prices correlate with various economic trends.

Hopefully the research for those required actual hands on field work.

I followed that strategy for the first year at this company. After I saw what other employees stored on their public folders I realized no one was paying attention and started using the work computer instead. I still try to keep it reasonable though and would be able to explain most sites I visited.
