International Shoop League Season 2

Where do I go to see all the shoops from UFC 187 and the latest events?

Where do I go to see all the shoops from UFC 187 and the latest events?

All of the previous events are posted in the OP in this thread. I'll make the 187 thread sometime tomorrow afternoon.

my shoop is in!

I still kinda wish I'd done one for Faber vs Edgar ... had an idea for 2 "characters" facing each other ready to fight, and one throwing lots of punches and kicks while the other occasionally throws an overhand right :D

I feel ya. I had a great idea for Rockhold/Machida if Luke won and he did. Unfortunately we were on hiatus then. Oh well we should get some quality stuff for the playoffs regardless.

So far half of the shoops are in.

UUUUNNNNNNNGGGGHHH I don't wanna shoop no more. I'm feeling like Romero; "No Mas, No Mas!"

The shooping is done. Narrating the story. Then comes that upload...so close, so far.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Wonderful. that's win-worthy, I fear to see what you are submitting for the contest..

Its 10pm EST right now, I'm gonna finish mine up in the next few hours & send to Totes.

Just saw some 6-hour warning a few posts up, I hope mine is still on time I thought we had till tomorrow daytime

Anyone know how to avoid the nasty 'larger-to-smaller' image pixelation in GIMP? Does Photoshoop handle this better?

Geoff Jeffrey

There's a method I was taught on how to do a large-small image resize without losing detail in the process. Not sure if that's the issue you're having though, it may be a GIMP issue as you're not losing details you just end up with tons of noise. Photoshop doesn't seem to do that as far as I can tell. Regardless, what I was taught is;

You should resize it by approximately 80-100px per resize, under the bicubic sharper method (Photoshop, can't speak for GIMP, never liked it.)

After each resize, you should run each layer/frame through a blur filter (normal PS blur, not blur more/gaussian blur etc.), and as needed a sharpen filter (once again, standard PS), usually every 2-3 resizes down.

The difference?

The Left is a simple resize using Bicubic, the center is a straight resize using Bicubic Sharper, the right is the method I described above. It helps retain more of the details, and I had actually smoothed that out a bit because it ended up too "noisy". Open the image in a new tab to see it better zoomed in and whatnot

On another note, fuck man if that's your freebie I'm shook.

Fucking HILARIOUS.

Geoff Jeffrey is a force, he could be the Cormier to our Strikeforce HW Tournament

I just submitted my shoop

Why does my PM 'Sent' Items say zero (empty) when I just sent it to Total?

Did it send or not? fuck

lol

On the Menu Bar, click User CP.

When it loads, click the "Edit Options" link, this will open a menu with a series of check boxes. You want to be certain that the box named "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" is checked.

This will, however, cause your message limit to be reached much quicker and you should remember to delete sent messages if you begin to run out of room. I have PM for quote enabled (a few options below) as well which also fills up the box; right now I have 10 unread I need to delete.

Alrighty, shoops are in. Unfortunately i'm missing one. Will post the voting thread tomorrow in the early afternoon if all goes well.

I have no idea what this is about. But my stupid C-you-next-Tuesday of a GF just walked and I've got a fifth of dogshit vodka in me. And I don't have to work tomorrow for once. So, please dear god give me some laughs!

Easy target! Tell me what a tool I am for caring! But also - what the F is this all about that it gets a billion hits in five seconds? I've been shouting that betting Edgar vs. Mcgregor is the easiest money in the history of the UFC on another thread and nobody gives a shite.

Totes, did mine come through last night?

Thanks for the tips Foghorn!

Well... I can't stand the suspense... This break has helped my creative juices...

I am anticipating some real shooping fireworks based on the layoff and the quality of this event.

Thanks for that, I'll try it. To be fair, GIMP is incredible for the price (free).
