International Shoop League Season 2

I cut some "nice to have" scenes from mine because the file was already around 16meg and I'd already cut the frame rate down to 9fps.

Plus I just can't bring myself to spend more than a couple hours on one of these... not with kids running around.

Just finished mine. Not even in my original 5 ideas but lack of good material plus time constraints made me whip one up.

So far only ib313 and Empty Emp sent theirs in.
 
so where are you guys getting material then?

I honestly cant find more than 1 gif from the whole night...! All those great flurries, can't find shit.

Means I'm either gonna have to change my idea, or learn how to extract frames from a youtube vid. Both will take time, lol

you can download whole torrent then use software like instagiffer to grab the sections you want :icon_chee

I've started doing it to get multiple screenshots of faces with the same lighting and sweat but different angles or expressions, rather than trying to mix and match from google, although the latter can lead to hilarious end results.

Last night I discovered http://makeagif.com and it is ROCKING MY WORLD!!

So easy, it extracts any bit of a youtube vid you want perfectly.

I used to always have to search for pre-existing gifs... then Zuffa cracked down and I can't find em anymore. This changes everything, I can use bits from any youtube video

Yikes - this opens up whole new worlds

1 am. I had work at 8 I had to be at least somewhat responsible. I'm going from now straight through the deadline.

10 Hours....oh man. Hardest part is gonna be uploading it with the connection I have.

Long & Work-Intensive =/= Good or Funny.

If Masato beats me it'll be because he's got a clever quick image that counteracts my long ass mini-movie. I'd happily take the loss, but yeah man I'm regretting the concept; I bit off way more than the timeframe allowed me to chew through. :icon_sad:

mines still in progress but it's sweet every step of the way :D and I'm thinking of adding an hilarious "extra" if I get the time
 
could have been awesome timing ^^

just realised that saving my gif and then working on it later was reducing the quality of the frames each time, thought rebuilding it would be a lot of work but I've done it already, in sections ready for piecing together
 
Evening shoopers, and thanks for the welcome to the big leagues. When's the deadline (UK time)?

I have a '3/10' GIF in the books, but, I just started on a new idea and hopefully, I'll have something better to submit. I maybe needing some 'Diego Sanchez' judging.
