But this fight is reasonably interesting. Viana has had great success in BJJ, she was the world champion in 2015, and has won other Brazilian titles.

I am not too familiar with JJ Aldrich, but she beat future champion Danielle Taylor (who also fights vs Zhang Weili on Fight Pass next weekend), Viana is a pretty good prospect at WSW.

I don't think Aldrich is very good, so should I expect another submission from Viana?

I'm not sure why this is part of main card, both fighters not even top 15, and it's not about promotion because how many people will watch it?
Actually Zhang Weili is something to watch. Viana has zero strking abilities, null, and Aldrich is weak grappler.

Yeah, I am not actually sure why this is on the main card. It doesn't deserve to be. Viana's striking is OK at best, she is wild and there to be hit.

But yeah, I hope Weili beats Taylor.

I think our definition of the word "interesting" differ slightly. Absolutely amazed that a nothing fight like this is on an actual PPV card & yet still Dana can't see why numbers are dwindling. I could understand it being on the Fightpass/ Fox undercard shows but on the actual PPV?

Aldrich is a neat little boxer although perhaps the most noteworthy thing about her is that her first name is actually just that JJ, they're not initials. A bit strange to have this fight on the ppv, is this confirmed? I'd have thought the fun female fight was Bethe against Aldana - Aldana by ko.
