Interesting Neanderthal facts

Thank you for sharing that info. I didn't know some of it, so it was refreshing.

Some evidence suggests adults of both sexes with Down syndrome are more likely to develop osteoporosis. Additional factors known to put people at increased risk of osteoporosis are: lean body type (especially low weight),

Interesting. I had no idea.

I wonder if their body structure made it harder to hold onto body heat during cold times
Bergmann's rule claims that that in cold climates, large body mass increases the ratio of volume-to-surface area and provides for maximum metabolic heat retention in mammals and birds. Conversely, in warmer temperatures, smaller body mass increases surface area relative to volume and allows for greater heat loss.
Allen’s rule states that animals with longer appendages (hence higher surface-area-to-volume ratio) are more likely to be found in hot climates, where shedding excess body heat may be needed.

Or maybe Neanderthal men were fucking our women?? I wonder which happened more often.

We'd like to think we charmed their women with our superior intellect and wit but who knows, maybe they weren't feeling that. Maybe they were unimpressed by our wimpy frames and lack of gains.

It could have been death by snu snu for the puny humans.

The video I posted mentioned that they might have had thicker skin to be better at dealing with the cold.
Hold up. Teh average female could bench about 350? WTF.
It seems almost unbelievable. But then again they were a different species. Neanderthals would also dominate strength sports today.

It seems they weren't necessarily less intelligent than us either. They just had less fine motor skills because of the structure of their hands.

Imagine being a prehistoric human fighting an opponent who's bigger, way stronger, faster in quick bursts, could tank more damage, and still about as smart as you. Your only advantage is that you can use ranged weapons and can outlast them.

Maybe they liked being a dom mami. A bunch of Rhea Ripleys manhandling their boytoy homo sapiens.

I thought they didn't die out, they just banged so many of us that our offspring became modern humans.

I read somewhere that there's lots of people alive today with neanderthal DNA.
