Media Interesting comparison between Jon Jones and Kevin Holland

The guy "fuck Jon Jones, I'm sick of JJ threads..." ... But he also liked this thread and went on a rant about how he dislikes JJ and that his fans are assholes bla bla. So the dude just showed right there he is a hypocrite lmao. You aren't tired of JJ's threads, @ GUY_with_the Vegeta after_18 loss_avatar, you are tired of ppl not echoing 100% your view of "fuck JJ". Try to be less transparent at least hehe

guys, fuck Jon Jones.
Who cares if he is the GOAT or not. It's really irrelevant at this point given the context of this situation.
I'm sick of every thread on here about Jones this and Jones that.
His fans are hypocritical, and every post defending him and his behavior seems like it is written by an immature idiot. They think he's above the sport, and run out non-stop ridiculous justifications for what's going on. How many more posts where some retard discusses what is in Jon's best interest do I need to read? Jon didn't have a $$ issue to fight Gane or Stipe, but now suddenly he has one with Tom.
Fuck Jon's best interest. What about HW's best interest? How about the champ fighting the interim champ with better claim to the title if we are being honest or vacating. How about his fans admit Jon is actually worried about fighting Tom, which is why he's drawing out these negotiations asking for a lot more money? How about they also admit that Tom has beaten way more top 10 heavyweights and the manner of his last 5 victories is way more impressive than Jon's last 5 victories (which go back how long?)

Jon is squatting on the HW belt and being a bitch. He's fucking up Tom's career making him sit out during his prime. And the UFC is allowing this to happen because they are assholes as well.
Don't care how great a career he's had. Him and this situation are getting annoying. If you are defending Jon at this point, you're an asshole too. It's really that simple.

Fight or vacate. Simple.
He’s fighting Aspinall. Chill tf out and await the announcement.
Then… watch Aspinall get destroyed.

It’s actually brilliant of jones and the whole promotional mind behind this making of him a “duck” and an ironic pariah.

He took years off, came back and destroyed Gabe in what, a minute? Something no one else has been able to do still. If there’s anyone out here who can call their shots and take their time to intensify the drama to this level, it’s Jones. he’s already shown you that he can take his sweet time and show up all the better for it.

Hehe that will be great!! I wish I had a time machine so I could fast forward to see the new ridiculous wave of excuses after Tom is also beaten... It'll be fun tho, as it's always been.

, jones is fighting the best of the best for 10 years straight
He fought Anthony Smith in that time and should have lost that fight by DQ in round 4, but Smith refused to quit after being fouled. Smith could have Aljo'd his way to a title, and got Serra'd in the rematch, but he chose to fight on despite one of the most obvious fouls in MMA. Herb Dean tells Jones "Do not kick" moments before Jones launches a knee to Smith's head.

I understand why Smith didn't quite. Lion hear and all that, plus the ribbing Aljo took. But I think Jones reputation would be a lot different if he had 2 losses for using illegal strikes instead of just the one. I know people like to pretend Jones didn't lose to Hamill, and don't think 12-6 should have been illegal, but they were illegal at the time. He clearly fouled him based on those rules.
You must have missed him on the Quentin Jackson podcast.
You know Rampage doesn't believe in gravity. It's hard to have a normal conversation with that guy.

The only numbers that matter.

Estimated career earnings Jon Jones through 24 fights. 25 Million

Estimated career earnings for Holland through 26 fights 2.7million.

Yeah, weirdly I did catch that and he did seem like a prick. But I'm not basing his entire personality off of that, and again, I'm comparing him to Jones. I guess comparing a solid turd to diarrhea isn't very useful, so you're right.

I don't know about that, all I know is Holland came off like a completely immature douchebag in that entire exchange, while Quinton handled it about as well as he could have.

If you're talking to Quinton and he comes across as the adult in the room, you have serious problems.

Jones has more championship victories than any fighter in UFC history. Most of Sherdog might dislike him but he’s without a doubt the greatest talent this sport has ever seen and your favorite fighters favorite fighter.

<JonesLaugh>

But he'll never be regarded as such because he pissed hot and is a terrible person. No matter how talented you are that matters. He's just the Barry bonds of MMA now.

He came off that way because he is that way. But that doesn't mean that Rampage isn't a ridiculous person, and worthy or ridicule himself.

Further, Rampage also takes the blame for starting the argument, and later apologized to Kevin. Kevin came on to that podcast because he wanted to fight Rampage. He was already mad at him. He asked to spar Rampage for going on the show, and they were like "Yeah come on the show", and he got there and Rampage won't spar him and is all "You don't want to fight me", which is what sets the whole thing off. A simple misunderstanding between a guy looking for a fight and a guy who doesn't believe in gravity.

Within the echo chamber that is Sherdog…sure. Amongst the general populace of fans and fighters he’s already Goated.

Jones has been in title fights since his 8th UFC fight, took him 3 years to be a UFC champion, journeymen with shit records fight often, has double digit loses in the UFC alone, Jones has double digit title fight wins...

Khamzat Chimaev is honest on who he believes is the best and scariest fighter ever

Wrong. But whatever, suck the guys dick. He's Barry Bonds, and it isnt even debatable. He's the guy who everyone can admit was one of the great ever, but he's a cheater and a piece of shit, so he'll never get that credit. Barry Bonds will never be in the HOF. Jon will forever be called Pico Jones. Further more, MMA still the 'global world wide' sport people want it to be. You can walk to street in any major US city right now and maybe one out of 10 GUYS could tell you anything really meaningful about MMA. And if you asked about GOATS and fav fighters, or who they know - I would bet my life 1 out of 100 might say Jon Jones, but most would say Conor if anything at all.

holland fights cans and just shows up for a paycheck, jones is fighting the best of the best for 10 years straight, I don't like Jon and think he is ducking tom but the statistic is kind of dumb

Holland is dumb and the new Cerrone.
BUT he fights the Top 1 - 15 in two divsisions many times a year.
And his record would be a lot better if he would stay at WW picking fights.

Kevin Holland's opponents:
Chimaev
Gunnar Nelson
Roman Dolidze #8
MVP Bellator Champ
Jack della Maddalena - title challenger
Chiesa
Ponz
Wonderboy
Tim Means
Alex Oliveira
Vettori
Brunson
Souza
Buckley
Anthony Hernandez
Brendan Allan
Thiago Santos

And his record would be a lot better if he would stay at WW picking fights.
He should have demanded 6 months to prepare for MVP.

I do think Kevin Holland has made some choices, both accepting fights and in the fights themselves, that haven't advanced his career. But he is tied for the record of shortest time between main events, most fights in a calendar year (5), most wins in a calendar year (5), and #2 for most performance bonuses (8).

More intriguing fact among both men in comparison

Is the incredible ape-indexes they posess

Jon at LHW is a + 8.5

Kevin at WW is a + 6.5

That’s how you carefully craft a champion. Meticulously pick each fight and spend a year training in between so you can finish your steroid cycles and test clean.

For better context-

GSP had 20 fights in the UFC- 13 were championship fights

Anderson Silva had 20 fights in the UFC - 11 were championship fights

Mighty Mouse had 14 fights in the UFC - 11 were championship fights

Jones has 24 fights in the UFC- 18 were championship fights with zero losses.

Kevin Holland has had ZERO championship fights and 14 losses. He is currently not ranked.

Holland can have 5 more fights this year alone and LOSE ever single one of them.
