ohhh .... now i think i know what happened.

McMann DECLINED the fight against Ladd when she weighed in 2lbs over and so the UFC are going "F you Sara, you're gone, you shoulda taken that fight".

this is UFC sending a message to it's roster to just take the fight regardless. UFC want to keep their cards intact as muich as possible. If it's 7 or 8 lbs then ...defo not ok. 2lbs isnt'a huge miss, so...seems like Sara shoulda said ok give me the extra 20% and let's fight.

Was it the last fight on her contract? Because it would definitely make sense that the UFC didn’t want to re-sign her. Or that McMann might explore free agency. Ladd is not long for the UFC anymore either. She just doesn’t have anything good to offer.

At 41 with a spotty record I understand the UFC if they didn’t want to play ball with her.
Although going out on a W then your opponent misses weight sucks for her.
