Instant overwhelming nostalgia

I was watching a CBS Saturday Morning Cartoons block from 1986 the other day on Youtube, it was 5 hours of nonstop childhood fun, complete with all the toy and cereal commercials

I forgot about The Wuzzles, I used to like that show

I also forgot the Bernstein Bears used to have a cartoon back then too, even though it had been edited by the Mandela people and the title was now Berenstain Bears, ole Pete still aint buying it, I know dem bears used to be Jews
 
We had a PC game store at the local mall. Thinking about that takes me back, I loved PC games back in the early 90s

I got hit with a massive nostalgia bomb a couple weeks ago. I had to replace my garbage disposal and when I was sealing the sink with plumbers putty it hit me real hard. Took me back to being a little kid going to job sites with my dad. It’s probably been 3 decades since I’ve smelled that stuff. It’s so strong and distinctive.
 
Anyone want to know how to stop me dead in my tracks no matter what I'm doing and cause me to break out into song? Play one of these theme songs...

That easy-breezy boozy remix of the theme song for the outro with the cut scenes is absolute peak 80s cartoon nostalgia.

I can't up this enough. I'll die on that hill but Salute Your Shorts was one of the best kids shows in the 90's. Show is still good on rewatch and the whole cast was great. It was so good that it changed from Michael in season 1 to Pinsky in season 2 and it did not miss a beat. It might have gotten better.

Then there's Carmen Sandiego. Best public television geography show. Everything worked well on that show.

That being said I would like to add a few of my own.
