Instagram's new feed

Seriously, what genius (retard) came up with this and thought it was a good idea? Why would I want to see a picture someone posted 16 hours ago, then a pic they posted 8 hours ago, before I see something someone posted only 2 hours ago? I usually check through an app designed for tablets, and sometimes it still takes several minutes of scrolling to notice something someone posted recently.

Anyone else frustrated with this?

I just started going to my list of followers and clicking on the pages I want to see atm.

That's kind of what I'm doing, clicking on a person, then seeing their photos in order posted. It's still a ridiculous system, though. Only seems to benefit people who make money from IG hits.

I knew this was coming and this sucks. They're doing it so they can filter the feed and make people pay for exposure. I have a small business and this will affect me greatly. I don't mind paying for ads but they don't really convert. My posts converted more. Didn't think they'd make the changes so soon after the backlash a couple of months ago.

I hate when these apps decide what's relevant to me based on how many people I know liked something. Just put it in chronological order so I don't miss anything.

I was really disappointed when I saw the change. It really sucks when your trying to promote your business, because your images are never going to get seen since there are like 50 photos of half naked chicks in front of yours.

that could explain why I'm getting a ton more followers? I'm not instagram famous yet, but I'm getting there and whatever happened recently, I've been getting quite a bit more followers than normal. I do admit posting very high level photos that constantly "top posts" of my tags, and I cant post on a daily basis because IG takes down my top post and replaces it with my current image. I like riding out the top post for as long as I can, gets me tons of exposure.

It seems a lot of my favorite people to follow get lost in the mix of the "instagram models" I had to delete a lot of them because it spammed my feed

sorry, that's not true for all users. you may be running an old version? for sure, my stream is distorted, but it doesnt matter much for me, I'm more of a content provider.

Yeah maybe it didn't update yet.

I barely use it anymore anyway. IG is losing the war to Snapchat. I haven't made a SC account yet, might not at all, but i can tell IG is headed the way of the dodo.
