Im getting tired of fighters winning when one judge votes the other way,in order to win a fight all judges must agree who wins or else its a draw. Lets change the judging and i mean this second.

so Pendred still beats Spencer.

That is no better than the current system.

Judges need to be better educated and they need to be held accountable in some way. They make these shitty decisions, fuck up guys' careers possibly, all because they have no idea what they're watching. A sizable portion of sherdog would do better at judging fights than those incompetents. Of course, there are some morons on here who share their mentality, i.e. "Oh, he got a td, that should be enough to win the round." Such stupid ideas do not belong in the mma lexicon.

And this rule would actually create MORE judging fuckups. Take one of the many fights that's scored for the right person, but it's still inexplicably a split decision and everyone goes "ooh, almost had more judging bullshit there."

Take a fight like Jamie Varner vs Melvin Guilliard. Everyone in the media and who watched casually thought that Jamie clearly won. Two of the judges agreed. One judge inexplicably gave it 30-27 to Guilliard when the others gave it 30-27 to Varner. The right guy got the win in the end, but with TS's method all it takes is ONE judge to take away a valuable win bonus.

The system needs a ground-up re-write.

And you can start by removing round-scoring and instead *judge* OVERALL - the way MMA should always be. 3 rounds is just too few scoring milestones to adequately convey any kind of overall context, the arbitrary scores awarded miss overall significance, as well as the system influencing the fight way too much.
