People don't understand how good Ank actually is. He consistently fought against dangerous guys IN THEIR FACE pressuring. All thorough his fights he never feared such fire fight, if anything he excels in it. What you saw against Poatan was simply what he did against other opponents, he fearlessly took on the challenge and went into dangerous guys face while all the other guys were fearful against Poatan.

Nobody of any credibility is saying Ank is the better striker in a pure striking match.
Just like nobody of any credibility would say Alex stopped the TDs so he would clearly win in a pure grappling match.

Alex vs Ankaelev wasn't a striking match and it wasn't a grappling match. It was an MMA match.

If you think Alex won't need to worry about the TDs in a rematch you are dumb. That would be about as smart as Ank not worrying about Alex's striking since he couldn't KO him.
