His grappling is just on another level.

Look at how he submitted Boetsh and Bisping, and how he schooled Weidman on the ground. Weidman's only chance is to KO him on the feet imo, and it won't be easy.

I only see Jacare giving him troubles at MW, and maybe Yoel if he lands something big.

Rockhold's grappling is some of the best in MMA, he really has mastered it.

His top control is insane, so heavy and suffocating and he is incredibly creative too. He will dominate Weidman in the rematch.

His grappling really is other worldly. I don't think anyone in the division has a legit shot of really dominating on the ground except Jacare and that would be something to behold.

If anything, his arrogance in the standup could cost him against one of the top guys. He's already shown that he can be TKO'd.

Silky smooth.

That roll + triangle on Boetsch was just ridiculous. You could tell that Boetsch was completely bewildered for a second after being rolled over like that, then thought, "Oh well, might as well finish this single leg." Bad idea, Boetsch, bad idea. Just led him straight in to the triangle.

I slept on Rockhold for a long time, but I'm really starting to appreciate his technical excellence. I mean, who else has the skill to do what he did to Bisping? Rocked him with a beautiful question mark kick, snatched up a guillotine, rolled him to mount and finished it one hand. Just absurdly good.

Agreed but Vitor has become somewhat of a headkick KO specialist of late although I'm not sure how being roided up helps you become proficient at throwing accurate headkicks?
