Wow the USA has dropped 7 spots from last year! Hope Donny reconsiders some of his trade wars.

We jumped 5 spots with Trudy leading us. We'd crack top 5 if we had a halfway normal PS.

Get used to it, this is gonna be a long fight.
 
Isn't it interesting how almost all of the countries manage to provide universal healthcare, tuition free education and robust welfare systems while still being more financially competitive than the US? Literally all Scandinavian countries are ahead. It's almost like the "socialism/communism" narrative isn't accurate....

We are still ahead of China!

But curious, what does this story you posted actually mean??? World competitiveness rating? Why should we be chasing #1?

I mean, we have less unemployment now than with obama and better market and etc....but we were higher on this marker you posted?

SO IN SHORT WHY SHOULD I GIVE A FUCK MORE ABOUT THIS THAN THE HUGE SUCCESS WE ARE HAVING WITH LOW UNEMPLOYMENT AND STRONG MARKET THAT WE DID NOT HAVE WITH OBAMA???

Oh Mr. CAPS how scary LOL! This America's worst performance in a ranking that we have dominated for years. According to their metrics trade wars so far have hurt our economic growth outlook for the future.

Isn’t this list just basically someone’s opinion based on their preferred policies, rather than a tangible rating looking at results?

Well, nobody really trusts the US anymore since that crazy guy became president. You can't just cancel all kinds of agreements, behave as erratic as he has and expect no consequences.

The stuff he says is excellent for ratings, but a presidency is not exactly a TV show.

Would you mind detailing to me exactly what policies and or measures Trump put forth that resulted in this 'greatly improved economy from Obama' you keep shouting about? Because from where I sit, the economy is simply the result of continuing trends that were started by Obama after the last Republican president fucked everything up.

On a graph of any economic metric, the period before Trump took office is virtually indistinguishable from the period since.

Its as if you want to come into the game with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter, your team is already ahead, and you're like, 'I won this game.'

So can you point to me where and when exactly the spikes in economic growth occurred? How come all the graphs show a steady increase, virtually the same as during Obama's tenure? Surely if all this deregulation is as good as you say it is, it should be represented by the data. Somehow I must of missed all of those spikes in growth. Can you point them out for me?
 
Is this even comparable between America and a bunch of sub-10 million people countries? Or is it apples and oranges?

Thats a big statement that I aint arguing here, but I would say not sure if we fully understand the damage Trudy has done to our country.
