The Darkhorse. AKA, the knight and shining terror, he's coming...
You've all been warned...

I knew before entering this thread that the title was leading to this question.Does he become the Featherweight Goat?

No, he wouldn't even be close to the #2 all-time Featherweight (Holloway), let alone #1 (Aldo).
No, he won't.Well, regardless he will be in the talks if it happens.
KZ only has two top ten ranked wins, so even if he went "on a tear", he wouldn't get anywhere near the number of top ten ranked wins to get close to Holloway (10) or Aldo (12).But if he goes on a tear in which I think could happen, he might become the F.W Goat to some...

Sad fact: KZ's longest win streak since 2009 was only three victories, back in 2011-2012.
Garbage thread for one of my favorite fighters.
There's a difference between thinking someone could turn their career around and someone becoming a divisional goat; KZ would need 10 top ten ranked wins to just match Aldo, which at KZ's schedule would take a little over 7 years of nothing but victories and put him at 41 years old.Nah, I'm fairly certain he'll be in the talks if that were to happen.
Many people have turned their careers over with not a great history prior to making their run. I can name quite a few actually. Crazier things have happened. I called Robbie Lawler to be a champion, and said Dustin could be champion in L.W one day...
Not unless you beat Volk and Max and go on a tear. Those two aren't mutually exclusive if that happens. There's a difference between thinking someone could turn their career around and someone becoming a divisional goat; KZ would need 10 top ten ranked wins to just match Aldo, which at KZ's schedule would take a little over 7 years of nothing but victories and put him at 41 years old.
I'm done arguing this point, cya.
Time to stop posting.
It doesn't matter, he's faced Poirier, Jose, Yair and Edger. He also completely out wrestled Dan Ige.
When KZ is on, you'll see the beauty in his brilliance...
Nope, he's certainly not the fighter he was. Neither is Aldo. But my response was in context to KZ having fought tough competition after he fought Hominick.Dustin wasn't the fighter he is today, Yair isn't amazing despite his never-ending hype, and let's not pretend like the Edgar he fought wasn't fading by that point. Sure, he'd just fought Max for the belt, but he got that shot off a win over Cub.
YesDidn’t he have to serve his time right when he was gaining momentum in his career?
