Steroids shouldn't diminish Silva's legacy. The man simply got old. He made a fool of Henderson (the guy that destroyed Fedor) and made a bigger fool out of Forrest Griffith. He also found a way to win against roided Sonnen and TRT Vitor.

GSP? The guy dodged Silva his entire career and got smashed against Hendricks. I like GSP but his prime is no where close to Silva's prime.

Let's put this to rest already. Silva is the goat.

After the Bisping fight I am 100% confident that The Spider would brutally KTFO GSP in a 5 rounder. Also yes, Silva was too dominant, he is clearly over GSP in terms of p4p

I am a big Silva fan, but nobody is GOAT over GSP.
 
Idk it's close, but you say how he won against roided sonnen and vitor but silva was likely on something at that time too, most guys were. Gsp also faced more diversified and well rounded competition which should be taken into account

IIRC, GSP was never ahead of Silva on the P4P list when they both were champions and kings of their respective divisions. Which makes me say, damn I wish Silva vs GSP was made.

Whenever I see P4P I read it as "my favorite", because its based on fantasy.

There are four GOATs, Anderson, Jones, Fedor and GSP, and the order anyone puts them in depends on who they like most.
 
I think it's pretty much settled between them, at this point. GSP just made it official at 217.
 
Saint Pierre would dominate him like sonnen did but not fuck it up in the fifth
 
Pre-failed steroid tests and GSP's win over Bisping, I would have agreed. Now, however, I've got GSP as GOAT with Andy a close second.

While I've got issues with Fedor (but nothing that hasn't already been talked to death), you're not wrong.
 
Just compare Silva vs Maia and Woodley vs.Maia. Woodley copied everything off Silva and Silva didn't have the textbook at the time.
