Connor knows how to amp up a fight, he's a showman a la Chael/Ali.

His post fight press conference was well worded and he really didn't make excuses, other than the one that may be legitimate, that he was fighting two weight divisions above where he normally sat, which is impressive. No whining about injuries or extraneous circumstances.

Also I admire his willingness to come back and do it again. Not an all time greatest or current greatest, but has a fighter's spirit, have to give him that.

Not classy at all. No excuses, but oh derp he was the larger man, I jumped up in weight, nobody did that, if only was more efficient with energy etc.

Shhhh...post this thread in a few weeks. Right now we have to make his fans pay for their indiscretions.

No he wasn't. He lasted about two minutes before the bitterness came spewing out of him. He went on and on about those in the Featherweight division and went after Aldo (shifting the spotlight, what a man does when he is afraid).

Classy? No, he was humbled.

He was acting less like a god and more like a mortal, the way people should act.

Besides the blatant fact he tried to say Diaz was way bigger than him(1 pound) and had a10 day notice... At least he took it on the chin knows why he lost which is huge and did take th fight no matter what I give dude his due respects. But let's be real now he is a middle tier LW and top FW if he can make weight

Nah... Ronda handled her defeat in way more mature way than Conor.

He used size as an excuse. He's been the bigger guy in every one if his fights - and Nate had exactly a single pound on him.

I'm happy Nate caught on and called it like it was: He's the better martial artist.

He wasn't classy. He was full of excuses and didn't give Nate any credit. First of all he kept talking about the weight as an issue. Like, if they'd fought at 155 maybe the outcome would be different. He didn't even admit to being hurt by Nate's punches, he said he was caught off balance. Everyone who saw that fight knows he got rocked badly though.

A lot of people are humble after they take an asswhoopin.
He wasn't classy when he was trying to injure Nate's hand in their face off.
He wasn't classy to Aldo, to Poirier who didn't do any shit talking, etc.
Of course he's going to put his best face forward now. What else can he do?

It doesn't matter. All of the unathletic failures in life have to get online to shit on whoever loses. I sleep well at night knowing i'm better than all of you that shit on professional fighters while sitting on your fat asses.

That's such bullshit copout from him. Diaz was taller, but the guy fights naturally at 155. This was basically two guys not needing to cut weight. And people have moved up in weight a lot in the past. Anderson did it, Randy made a career of it, BJ did it, Frankie's and MM's whole careers have been built on having been the smaller guys and STILL succeeding. He's basically gone into fucking damage control which after the shit talk he's done and the racist shit he's said in the past he does not deserve. Seriously, Fuck Him.

I think Conor has always been a good sport during post-fight pressers. In victory and defeat.

He was insanely passive aggressive towards Nate. I half thought they might get into something and Diaz would have to kick his ass again.

Not too many negative things to say after you get embarrassed by someone on 11 days notice.

Because there's nothing to gain from doing otherwise. It doesn't make him a gentleman - he can't erase all of his disrespectful acts by acting as if they never occurred oncethe fight is over.

I find it vulgar and gross that a lot of people have either forgotten or brushed off some of shit he's said and done especially the incredibly racist shit he said to Aldo.

He brought up "I wasn't efficient in energy because he was bigger" like 15 times. It got stale quick.
