It was a great, close fight and had the decision gone to Silva, it would be hard to complain, BUT, i'm glad that he lost for two reasons:
1 - Silva threw the knee as Bisping was looking away, trying to get Herb to stop the fight to get his mouthpiece
get put back in. I know that it is his right to keep fighting if the ref doesn't tell him to stop, but seriously—it is
not normal for a fighter to look away like that and it was scummy and unethical for Anderson to have thrown
the knee at that exact moment, knowing that Michael was defenseless as he stopped fighting.
2 - His continued clowning and walking around with his hands down. This is what caused him to lose the first
Weidman fight, so he obviously hasn't learned anything from that defeat. If he wants to get knocked out, that
is his business, but even if an opponent is too slow to take advantage of the low hands, it is very rude to
behave in such a fashion.
