Some of his fans are the biggest idiots in the world. I've seen 100s of excuses as to why he lost against Diaz and very rarely have I seen any of his fans admit he lost fairly. It doesn't matter if he "was winning before he got rocked" or "he jumped 2 weight classes". He got exposed and I wish people could just accept that. Obviously with me as a fan I hope he bounces back better than ever but I also hope he lost all the casual fans due to his loss.

It's not even that big of a fucking deal either. It could've been way worse. He lost a fight at 170 and still has his belt, but the Conor fanboys are fucking relentless with their autism. I've never seen anything like it before in my life.

To make it worse the amount of fans I knew before the fight who are now saying his career is finished is ridiculous.

Just pissed Conor started panic wrestling and ruined a good fight. He completely gave up and got tooled

The Ole ole ole ole chants just died that night.

It's alright. The Conor fanbase needed this loss so that the flames of Sherdog could purge the wagon of all it's ridiculous hangers-on.
Conor's legitimate fans will ride it out, defend their guy with at least a modicum of rationality, and look forward to his next win.

Some of his more stubborn trolls will continue to cling to his nuts until he takes another loss, but they're easier to ignore now that they've watched their hero fall.

The question has been answered in regards to Conor moving up and being a multi-division champion, he gets murked also at 155 against top 5 guys. I still have questions about him facing a full camp top 145 fighter who he can't KO within the first two frames, I honestly think his title "reign" will be very short lived.

Lets weight for the Frankie fight, then the real fallout will begin. But these are the guys coughing up the million dollar buy rates to see him so not good for UFC business.

Funny you say that his fans are relentless and rarely objective, meanwhile there are 14 threads every 3 minutes exactly like this, saying he has been exposed, is a bitch, pussy, quitter, no heart, etc. Check your own peeps, homie.

glad im not the only one who has experienced this, many post 2014 fans i know can't face it

That's exactly what i'm thinking myself, Aldo#2, Frankie, Holloway#2 and any top 10 155'er

Sad thing is even after the Aldo win I'd been saying that his road to gold was dubious, he's had ideal stylistic match ups until the Medes fight, which he won due to short notice. I also thought an unemotional Aldo would beat him and he was a lucky and very incomplete mixed martial artist who would be exposed sooner or later. As expected the rabid Conor fans shat on me because I was trying to discredit their man-crush, good thing Sherdog is somewhat back to reality.

Yeah that was shocking. I think he went for the shot so he wouldn't get KO'd on his feet/out boxed by 'slow/stiff/plodding' Diaz. Conor's been choked b4 but he' never been rocked, nm KO'd. The look on his face when he got stung was like a kid that found out Santa Clause doesn't exist. I love Conor's fighting and mentality but it is always fun you see an ego maniac emasculated (although kinda sad in this case; his world ended).

And TS, everything you say is true but it is important to atleast acknowledge that he stepped up, took a huge risk, fought at a disadvantage (in certain regards) and deserves respect for that. There are so many champs that pull out for the slightest things/turn down opponents, won't go up in weight, etc. I just hope we don't throw the baby out with the bathwater owing to Conor losing. I think we all want more super type fights and switching over weight classes. So tired of dominant fighters that avoid a true challenge like the plague.
