IHop....thoughts?

I haven't gone in a while but when I did go, avocado and bacon omelette and pigs in a blanket.

I prefer their breakfast to Denny's. Never eaten anything else from there. I tend to stick to restaurants strong points.

I usually order the Grilled Balsamic Chicken, pretty good you should try it....

I usually just get one of their omelets which fills you up good. Denny's has better cheap deals though. I got pancakes, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs and rice with biscuits and gravy and got a sundae with red velvet hush puppy things all for $8. Even better that it was straight from drunken bowling.

I only go to IHOP when I'm blasted. The food isn't good. They are mildly expensive, considering the quality, and I've never been in a clean IHOP.

Denny's is a much better choice for good food, and it's cheaper. I'm not going to pretend Denny's is five star, but some of their food is fucking delicious. IHOP doesn't even have that. Everything, including their pancakes, is "meh" at best, and flat out bad at worst.

I've always noticed vice versa where I'm from (Los Angeles - socal region, in general). IHOP seems much more cleaner and fresh where Denny's seems more dirty and less fresh. Just my general observations tho. I wouldn't call myself an expert in analyzing major diner chains.

Only been there once or twice. Not too popular where I live. We have a great local chain called De Dutch.
