If your favorite musician died at 27, what are 10 great songs that would have never been made?

Half of the Ramones were 27+ by the time their debut was released.
So, no...
Leave Home
Rocket to Russia
Road to Ruin
End of the Century
Pleasant Dreams

...+ all the great singles to follow (on, admittedly, spotty records)

Outsider
Psycho Therapy
Indian Giver
Mama's Boy
Howling at the Moon
Daytime Dilemma
Bongo Goes to Bitburg
Somebody Put Something in My Drink
Something to Believe In
I Wanna Live
Bop 'til You Drop
Pet Sematary
I Believe in Miracles
Merry Christmas (I Don't Wanna Fight Tonight)
Poison Heart
Strength to Endure
I Don't Wanna Grow Up
She Talks to Rainbows
Spider-Man
R.A.M.O.N.E.S.

Don Henley turned 27 in 1974. His list is going to be long.

Hotel California
Heartache Tonight
Take it to the limit
Lyin eyes
James Dean
Boys of Summer
Leather and Lace
Heart of the Matter
All She wants to do is Dance
Last Worthless Evening.

Mine would be U2 - Bono

If he died at 27. Joshua Tree would've been their last album.

So that leaves you plenty of great U2 songs that we wouldn't have heard.

One
All I Want Is You
The Fly
Until The End Of The World
Please
Mysterious Ways
Desire
Angel of Harlem
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses

Makes you wonder about those musicians that perished at 27 or even younger, how much great music they could have still given us.
Crazy to think about: Tom Waits’ discography would end after Small Change. There’d be no Blue Valentine, Heart Attack and Vine, Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs, Bone Machine, Mule Variations

Know what’s even crazier?

Leonard Cohen would’ve never released a single album. He was 33 when Songs of Leonard Cohen was released.

Well I'd say tool is probably top and opiate came out after Maynard was 27... So might not have even heard of them.

Aside from tool Babymetal is legit up there for me and still over 1 full year before Su turns 27.

If Vanilla Ice died at 27, we would have never gotten the rap metal version of "Ice Ice Baby".

Mine would be U2 - Bono

If he died at 27. Joshua Tree would've been their last album.
I think that would've been perfect. I didn't like anything they've done after that album.

For me, it would be Axl Rose. He would've died after releasing 2 albums; Appetite for destruction and Lies.

I'm sure many people would feel the way I feel about Bono, because Appetite was their best album.

But I love the illusion albums that came out when he was around 29.

If he died at 27 we wouldn't have

1. November rain
2. You could be mine
3. The best version ever of knockin on heavens door
4. Estranged
5. Civil war
6. 14 years
7. Dust n bones
8. Pretty tied up
9. Get in the ring
10. Yesterdays
And several more

Lady Gaga after 27 . . .

Shallow
Always Remember Us This Way
I’ll Never Love Again
John Wayne
Perfect Illusion

She did her jazz album with Tony Bennett but I’ve not listened to it so I couldn’t speak on that. Artpop was released exactly 10 years ago and she’s 37 so idk if that counts or not. From that album we have . . .

Sexxx Dreams
MANiCURE
Do What You Want With My Body
Venus

Alice Cooper is fucking 75 years old. Depressing. He was 27 in 1975 so we have . . .

A lot. Okay fuck this. Dude released a million goddamn albums.

But we wouldn’t have the album Trash. So no Poison or Hell is Living Without You. There would be no Hey Stoopid album, so from there we miss Feed My Frankenstein, Dangerous Tonight,

Rob Zombie was 27 in 1992.

Right off the bat we lose Educated Horses which is one of my most favourite albums. I’ll accept your boos that’s fine.

The album Hellbilly Deluxe is lost. Iconic songs Living Dead Girl and Dragula are toast. The album Sinister Urge is gone, Feel So Numb, House of a 1000 Corpses.

Which, going off of, no Rob movies. For better or worse.

Josh Homme would have been 27 in 2000.
So we would not have gotten all Queens/Them Crocked Vultures/Desert Sessions post the first queens album (or maybe Rated R)

Still would have had all of Kyuss though, so hed still be a king

Damn no solo Ozzy....

Didn't do the math to the month and Day but "Sabotage" was the Sabbath album released his 27th year

Jesus. If Steve Harris died at age 27, the last Iron maiden album would have been number of the beast in 1982.

That's a hell of a discography gone.

The trooper
Flight of icarus
Aces high
Powerslave
2 minutes to midnight
Wasted years
Moonchild
Infinite dreams
The evil that men do
Fear of the dark

I could keep going and going
