He's being indicted on a least a dozen or so charges.
Each one of those charges, carries with it a decade or so in jail.
With two separate criminal trials that would likely bankrupt him in defense fees.
During bail, he was hit with with additional charges of tampering with witness.
His long time partner is testifying against him


It seems his only play is hoping for a presidential's pardon.

Awful strategy, considering that Gates is an official cooperating witness for Mueller now. Not to mention, Mueller is assembling almost two dozens or witnesses against Manafort. Every legal play that Manafort has employed has been toss out, from civial case to having he indictments toss.

He's fucked and he knows it. He has to worry about not getting himself killed. I don't think he's going to flip. If Trump attempts a pardon there should be enough Republicans willing to impeach him.

Feds probably offered same deal to Manafort and Gates, first one to take it wins. Remember Gates was the deputy campaign chairman AND stayed on through transition team. He was more valuable to feds than Manafort. Thus Manafort is manafucked
