If you want evidence Mcgregor is undersized for 170

You know who was an undersized LW and WON the lightweight strap? Frankie Edgar, who is a good bit smaller than Conor, and who deserves a title shot WAY MORE than Conor deserves a pointless rematch that will prove nothing more than that Conor needs to defend his belt before pretending that he's some kind of weightclass transcending talent.

CONOR MCGREGOR IS NOT A WEIGHTCLASS-TRANSCENDING TALENT!!!!

He is a talented FW, and nothing more.

Conor's skillset at 170 isn't good for his size, not to mention the amount of killer wrestlers in that division. Imagine him trying to stuff TD's from Woodley or Hendricks.

And LW. I think he'll do well at LW. Jumping up 10 lbs is one thing, but 25lbs is just silly. The game has evolved to where most of the guys are well rounded and in the end, physical makeup is a big deal.

Using the forum as a means for drumming up arguments to build your confidence old sport?

I've made no excuses, this is my insight on the situation. I hold no allegiances to either fighters as I'm not a fan of either. Why can't you just accept that?

This is sherdog where using logic to try and make a debate interesting gets you called nut hugger or hater. I loved seeing Conor choked out and yet because I'm supporting the idea of this thread, some 12 year old will probably tell me to get his nuts out of my mouth or some shit. Its annoying but what can you do?

i don't know why this is under such heavy debate

Nate is taller than Mcgregor we all know that but in terms of size and mass he isn't much bigger
both men are relatively small for WW however they fit into LW just fine whoever thinks Coner is a natural made FW is fucking crazy

Of course he is undersized for 170. He is a true 155er... as is Nate Diaz.

And Conor boast being larger than RDA who beat Bendo and Nate. RDA is way more of a monster than him

You shouldn't be telling us, you need to tell the irishman, he doesnt seem to get it, but he will. Nate is a lw also, his bro is a ww.

They are both natural 155 pounders, Nate weighed in at like 169, doubt he had to cut much if any at all.

Why did you make this thread? No shit hes small for WW. Are you fucking retarded?

people can't stop talking about conor and diaz. maybe a rematch really is worth it

So why has Nate stated in the past that fighting at 155 is tough for him? He's also missed weight before.

Man the damage control for Connor is still running full force. Weeks ago it was he was going to steam roll through everyone in 3 weight classes. Now its look how small he is compared to other fighters. He lost to a guy who fights in the same weight class Conor originally wanted to fight in when joining the UFC. Get over it folks.

TS is using a strawman argument. No one denied Conor was a small welterweight. They denied that he was a small lightweight. UFC 196 was not a legit welterweight fight.

Not trying to use our tried and tested mmath here, simply saying how easily Nate's opponents where able to implement their gameplans on him, using their obvious strength advantage. Nate drwarfed Mcgregor, but even Nate is a small WW. Using Bendo is a bit unfair as an example because let's face it, in his prime the guy was an absolute beast, and even after his prime so to speak he managed to beat a huge WW in Thatch. I think if you look at it from this angle maybe people denying he's too small for that div will see otherwise. Heck I'm not even a Mcgregor fan, I've enjoyed this meltdown as much as the next guy but I am a fan of the truth.
Uhhh logical peoople have been saying he was unsersized for Ww for months. It was the nuthuggers who claimed he could beat everyone at Ww, and that nobody can take the left.

he is a 155 fighter. Like Dustin Poirier, Nik Lentz and some other 155 guys that were at 145 because they noticed how many small guys and fat bantamweights there are. Aldo and Edgar are perfect 145'ers IMO. Conor is big AF for that division. I don't doubt UFC making a 160something division soon.

The evidence is he can make 145. Doesnt matter if he is drained as fuck. No WW could ever make 145 hell i doubt most LW's could make 145.

All LWs are undersized WWs, no? Did anyone think they were large WWs???
