If You Like Banshee and Martial Arts, Check Out WARRIOR on Cinemax

I watched 8 of the 4 min on demand extra video clips and apparently this show was written by Bruce Lee for himself to star in.

I have a feeling all actors in these cable shows must agree to do some full nudity and possibly some genital to genital contact.

The crimelord puppet master ho sis Diane Doan kinda looks good and like she might be from HI. Her side boob scene looked kinda like CGI. She had her chance to showcase the goods in a prior scene but passed.

I guess I gotta keep Cinemax so I can see what happens to these characters and their naked private parts.

You know Ah Sam is gonna have sexual relations with the governor's wife and probably kill the crime boss he got branded for.

The show keeps getting better and better. It helps that there are a lot of likable and cool characters. Action is great as well.

Love last week's western standalone episode.

The show looks pretty damn good. Thanks for the heads up Dragonlord, will watch it a few episodes to see how good it is

I watched 2 eps. Action is great, but the rest seems kinda corny. Also really bummed out when they fully switched from Chinese to Murican. Took away a lot from the authentic feel it had.

Yea, the action is good, but I find it too corny.
The lead guy is cool, but it just feels like they're trying too hard to make him look cool.
It's decent, but I'm not that much into it.

my cable company got rid of cinemax for my silver package because of some sort of money dispute I only have hbo and showtime now.

I'm glad they magically speak English instead of making us read so much subtitles. The dialogue tends to be corny indeed.

The show's a bit too gory. The white supremacist bareknuckle king looks like Stipe Miocic.

The governor's wife goes full frontal early, but doesn't show anything having sexual relations with Ah Sam. Stingy.

It's like every character has something with them you're curious about.

I installed the MAX GO app by HBO to see what 400 movies are available and the privacy policy said they collect your credit card info among all sorts of other stuff they'll compile from other sources, so maybe you can get Cinemax via app separate from cable bill.

I feel that way about the boss dad, the skinny son always need the "sticky" sexual relations with the ho's, and the big scrap pitfighter/rail worker, and the middleman with all the contraband weapons.

I haven't watched last weeks episode but I particulary enjoyed the episode that took place in the saloon. It seemed very Quentin Tarentino-esque

I think the new episodes are on demand a day later.

I haven't watched much of Kung Fu (snatch the pebble from the hand, Grasshopper), but Warrior seems better.

If you like Banshee and martial arts, check out this new series which is said to be inspired by the writings of Bruce Lee and created/executed produced by Jonathan Tropper (Banshee creator). Warrior premieres April 5 on Cinemax.

"In 1971, Bruce Lee had developed a concept for a television series called 'The Warrior', about a martial artist in the American Old West, but that he was having trouble pitching it to Warner Bros. and Paramount. According to Bruce Lee's widow, Linda Lee Cadwell, however, Lee's concept was retooled and renamed Kung Fu, but Warner Bros. gave Lee no credit."

Bruce Lee was supposed to star in Kung Fu but the producers thought he was "too asian" for the audience and instead went with David Carradine. A bit of a crime right there.

So far seems like the actresses have a one nude scene quota because none are doing multiple nude scenes.

I've observed that as well. Weird. At this point, all we have to look forward now is the nude scene for Big Bill's wife lol.

From the creator of Banshee you say?

I think a bar in Warrior is named Banshee.

I was watching Strike Back, also on Cinemax, and they had the lads in a place called Banshi in NK.
