There was some guy that I believe is gone now, but he was a run of the mill Sony swallower. Told me that StarCraft II was just as "basic" as TLoU2 and did the whole stretch-or-shrink move to bend himself around reality. SCII is nearly impossibly complex. Serrel was considered to be the absolute top of the game, the one who had basically maxed the limit of what it could do. I think by the time he was 21 they already had two newcomers who were improving on his tactics. Been about a year since I really dug into the SCII Esport scene but I would be very surprised if pros aren't still building on what came before.

The ORIGINAL SC is infinitley re-playable, and SCII is like that game, on steroids.

Indisputably. I actually hated the SCII campaign story-wise, that was when we first started to see the really cringe-inducing stuff, excluding the CGI cutscenes which were and still are unbelievably good.

But in terms of gameplay, and having the different races all being unique with very, very few equivalencies but still being balanced, SCII took it to multiple levels beyond. Some of the stuff I see the pros do makes me feel like an absolute idiot.

Ah, hate to say it but it’s going to have to be a live service game by virtue of you playing it – and only that – perpetually.

Whether play/meta seasonal updates or battle pass timeout, things have to be shaken up or risk moulding like bread over the yearsdecades.

Even the greatest all-time games like Final Fantasy VI or Bloodborne can only be played so much however heretical the admission.

Agreed I’d probably choose an MMO. Maybe wow or eso. Throne and liberty Isn’t to bad either.

Honestly I don't know. Some have said a few sports games which I would possibly choose because you can't really beat those games every game is different.

As much as I love the Witcher 3 if I went through it enough it would get boring, so yeah I like the sounds of Tecmo Super Bowl on NES or TSB III in SNES or maybe 2002ish Madden or Genesis NHL 94/95
