If Woodley fought Colby instead of Till in 2018...

Till should have never gotten that title shot tbh.. He was gifted that win over WB in England and Dana kind of set him up to take Michael Bisping's place as the "new" Englishman, he 100% wasn't experienced or deserving of fighting Wood at that time.

colby only wants fights he thinks he can win--i love colby but this bullshit where guys call out washed fighters still ranked high has to be dealt with--we are seeing it again with marlon vera--it is detestable and if you lose that bad like tony-woodley--moraes et cet--you shouldn't ranked in the top--if you call out a washed fighter you are a bitch!! simple as that

"Prime" Woodley was still a low-energy fighter who lost to Jake Shields' higher-volume pitter-patter striking and was soundly defeated by Rory McDonald. I won't mention what Nate Marquadt did to him. He had KO power but also had limitations. He didn't have the stamina to fight like Usman, Colby or prime GSP for 5 rounds.

Both Marquardt & Rory were a beast back then it is not like he tapped to strikes to a LW

man its funny how much credit non champions get around here. Colby is a great fighter but wow, apparently i must of missed a few of his performances the way yall lickin his ass around here.

Woodley ko's him. A lot of people forget prime Woodley had insane takedown defence. Stuffed every takedown from prime Shields
Shields is more of an on the floor grappler, not like GSP blast doubles, he is so unathletic.

Colby wins most cases, but Woodley has that chance of winning through that right hand. Woodley doesn't do too well against ppl who pressure him. Even during his arguble prime, Shields and Rory beat him.

Plus Colby has been telling us for years that during training he would just put a pace on Woodley until Woodley would quit and that all he would have to do is avoid the right hand.

Woodley does well against strikers, but pressure fighters tend break him so long as they don't get clipped in the first round.

I line Woodley, he's a front runner though, I think Colby pressures him to a UD.

I might have also huffed primer earlier.

woodley struggles with pressure. He was able to avoid Maia TD because it was telegraphed and one dimensional, colby pressures with striking and grappling, his title defenses are against other counterstrikers in Thompson and Till who wouldny pressure him.

Colby would have won I think. His durability, pressure and cardio is way beyond Tyrones.

Colby already took tyron soul in practice years ago, twood had a good run for having one punch his whole career

This one's a 50/50 toss for me! It's either Tyron wouldn't been able to withstand the pressure a la Rory fight... or Colby's pressure without the same power as Rory's would've made Tyron unafraid to blithz him when looking to grapple! Very slight edge to Colby if I had to bet on it. It's a shame since Prime Tyron could've become a folklore legend like Prime Shogun... but despite being good... he's always been afraid to lose... instead of desiring to Win @ all cost!

Colby almost tapped in their recent fight

His wife filed for divorce after that fight.

And lost that fight due to Shield's volume and clinch. I think the Colby fight would have been the same.
