If/when Edgar/McGregor happens

Conor will have to use his wrestling to get this fight to the ground. His striking was just exposed as being ineffective by Nate "The Stepchild" Diaz, and conors BJJ blackbelt is overrated. Edgar is going to sub conor off of his back however.

Edgar has been working on his guard, and will likely win via submission (Spinning Arm Bar).
 
2 Options IMO

Conor really lost his mojo and gets either outwrestled for 5 rounds and loses a decision or rocked by frankie and submitted

or

Conor comes back better than ever and will be the first one to let Frankie lay stiff on the canvas

Conor got taken down easily by Mendes. Frankie has the sub game to finish it with the first takedown. And Edgar hasn't been knocked out and fights smart. He won't make Aldo's mistake and try to trade with him.

Boom 2 division champ.

Why are you so salty? Conor lost you should be happy but instead I read hate post after hate post from you, or are you just baiting? You seem more hurt then the Conor fans that's for sure.

How many UFC fighters has Frankie submitted? 2? 3? In how many fights? He is no BJJ machine.

I doubt that it was easy for Mendes, cause Conor was able to stuff some attempts. If it was easy, Conor wouldn't stuff a single TD.

Franke was never knocked out, but gets tagged and hit quite a lot.
 
Conor has to finish early. Idk if he has the cardio to go 5 with Frankie. From what he has shown so far, no but hopefully this fight happens at 200. The also rematch can happen eventually. With or without the belt I still want to see that fight.
 
I dont think Frankie gets the sub early, likely 3rd or 4th round tho
 
IMO Frankies footwork and speed will allow him to dictate the pace and allow him to avoid Conors left, Conors kicks will leave him open to takedowns early, after being pummeled for 2 rounds Conor starts slowing down and gets desperate and starts recklessly throwing his left, by the end of the third or fourth he quits and gives up the sub.
 
I think Edgar wins easily. Probably by ground and pound tko in the second or third.

Wonder what excuse Connie will come up with then.

His black belt is overrated, because it doesn't exist. He's barely a brown belt.
 
I was predicting that Nate will win... But i think that Conor will KO Frankie. Nate got more tools than Frankie to win against Conor. If Frankie survives first 2 rounds he could win a very narrow decision but i dont see it. Conor is much stronger, taller. And hits like a bull. Also i dont see Frankie lighting up Conor on feet like Nate did.

I'm big fan of Frankie but I just dont see how he could pull same thing as Nate did in any scenario.

To be fair Cloner did stuffed almost half of Chad's takedown attempts
 
Conor has always started fights quickly looking to finish , and i suppose with hindsight i always suspected he didn't have a five round gas tank at FW . However i always put that down to a severe weight cut , which must deplete the gas tank

However the move up in weight against Diaz didn't seem to put that right , despite reasonably suspecting it would . If Edgar makes it out of the second round , i think he wins by sub or TKO.
