Who cares what he might say? None of the fighters say anything worth a listen outside of the cage. I just want to see them fight.

Even if Diaz had won against Edwards, it would be a terrible fight between him and Usman. Diaz would be a lot more fun to watch where he can bang in a striking match. Usman would just spam him with TD's with no likely surprises on the final result.

Although Colby is full of garbage he did better against Usman than everyone else for any rematches that might be considered in the future. Otherwise WB or Edwards deserve the next shot.

Personally, as a Diaz fan, I'm against this fight in just about every way possible. There's other fights that can/would make him and the company more money as well as just plain make more sense.

Also, Usman even mentioning Diaz's name as a possible opponent is pathetic. There's, by my count , about 3 guys in the division Usman needs to fight to have successfully "cleaned out the division". And none of them have the last name Diaz.

Call it what it is....a green panty night along with padding the record/his title defenses.

Leon and WB are the only challengers worthy of it. As far as rivalries go, you know that Colby Usman II would end with the same outcome. If Colby loses he isn’t even near the door for contention. Dude wants to rush it, then so be it. But it won’t do much for him or Usman.

I don’t get it,how does anyone KNOW the fight would end the same? It was a close fight and many had Colby winning going into fifth.

I would make Usman a favorite, maybe 2-1 or something but I think it is far from a sure thing.

Wouldn’t matter. Colby hasn’t done anything to deserve a rematch. But it would make a wild narrative for Usman. It’s not a good look giving fights to undeserving challengers.

I do not think the UFC and Dana know the existance of the word "deserve" or "deserving"
