man i admit that i watched both movies although i don't have detailed memories... anyway they were allowed to use weapons, had to survive in the wild and had to collaborate and make strategies etc...

i think mma fighters are not necessarily the best candidates, don't remember much groundgame and submissions in the movies... maybe some army special force guy or green beret are more suitbale.

if you limit to ufc fighters in the end it would be a shootout between Tim Kennedy (army background) and Paulo Thiago (BOPE super police of brazil).

Valuev got a gift against a near 50 year old Evander Holyfield and was beaten soundly by the natural CW David Haye (Holyfield could also have campaigned at CW throughout his career if all the money and prestige wasn't at HW). Valuev was big, but not much else.
