If the impossible happens and OSP somehow beats Bones, does he get an instant rematch?

It seems like the UFC doesn't let upsets take their natural course. They instantly enforce an unnatural rematch.

If OSP wins (i know it's a big ass if) will the MSG card be headlined by Jones/OSP 2 for the Jones belt?

depends on how efficient Bones is with his energy...

No question. It happens frequently now

No fucking re-match for Carwin or anybody else ffs.

Yeah the co and main events of both 199 and 200 are rematches. Not to say those are bad rematches (perhaps Cruz/Faber or McG/209) but we are definetly living in the era of rematches.

Wonder if this will be a long lasting thing?

If OSP wins, Jones will definitely get an instant rematch so the ufc can hopefully get Jones vs DC 2 back at MSG. If Jones then wins that rematch OSP will be hung out to dry with no rematch of his own.

If there were a hypothetical what if forum would this thread have been created in it?

Hmmm.

I think OSP should get a shot at DC if he takes care of business at @197. (Or perhaps DC should get a shot at him)

UFC hands out rematches for way less, so I think it's safe to assume they would give him a rematch.

*edit* Shane Carwin

Its for the interim belt so no OSP would be the champ.

It's for the Jones belt. Interim aint shit.

Shogun vs Corey Anderson could be for an interim belt these days. No one would even raise an eyebrow.

He will and then Jon will go to jail again and the rematch will have to be called off
