If Dana's clever, he'll start a grappling league with slaps and body punches allowed.

There is CJJ and it is on UFC fightpass. If Dana's clever, he'll start a grappling league with slaps and body punches allowed.
That may be the only legitimate part of any of Volk Han's MMA fights cause everything else was a work.
Who wins when strikes are added?
If only such a sport existed, we could find out??
Ok and how many former champs and ranked fighters?
You guys know BJJ is still overwhelmingly effective in MMA right? Not like everyone who does BJJ is like Ryan Hall or Gary Tonton. Not everyone who does Sambo is a killer like Khabib or Islam.
If sambo were easy it would be called bjj
Sambo has strikes in its purest form. BJJ doesn't.
BJJ is stupid as hell, its for weak men
I am not sure about that.Sambo has strikes in its purest form. BJJ doesn't.
Everyone except the bathtub brigade already knew that BJJ was the better pure grappling art.
There's a reason why pretty much every mma fighter -- including khabib and islam -- have BJJ coaches, whereas most mma fighters don't need sambo coaches.
Sambo rules is much narrower and limiting. They don't allow many submissions that we see. Some rulesets the match ends with a throw. It's pretty sad how some BJJ diehards keep trying to push their narrative that their sport is the end all be all of grappling. Reminds me of the Gracies propaganda from the 1990s. This despite the fact wrestlers and Sambo guys routinely dominate BJJ players in open rules and MMA.
You do realize this competition was held under BJJ rules, right? Non-BJJ guys generally don't win when playing by BJJ rules.
Now how about BJJ guys compete in Sambo under Sambo rules and let's see how they do.
You do know that the AIGA rules are like taylor made for the non pure BJJ athletes? And there were quite a few bs resets from the judges and the Modolfo (bjj) team still won? It's pretty sad how some BJJ diehards keep trying to push this narrative that their sport is the end all be all of grappling.
