Khabib won the ground fight against RDA, a total beast, a BJJ BB. He totally controlled him, almost ragdolled, and was never in danger.

I know people gets excited after an unorthodox fighter. But i believe if Ferguson tries his crazy 10th Planet Jiujitsu moves, the ones he showed against Barboza, that would only translate into an easier fight for The Eagle.

Khabib is a world champion, of course his Sambo is spot on. This doesn't mean that RDA can't improve his overall ground game which looked very promising vs. Pettis.

Hope Tony drops him, then when Nur ga, naga, notgonnaworkhereanymore goes for panic grab he gets choked.

I just hope he doesn't try that leg roll too early, likely to get sat on and held down.

As a bjj purple belt, I agree, bjj is easy as fuck.

Odd words coming from a fighter who consistently pulls out of fights when he stubs his toe.

If Sherdog was easy, it would be called getting laid.

Khabib is coming from 2 year layoff, ferguson is tough as fuck with good cardio...I feel tony is gonna win

Tony has great cardio, a great chin, & he's unpredictable in every position. Khabib is coming off a long lay off, multiple injuries, & he's shown he has trouble finishing even when he's dominating the fight. Khabib basically has to win 15 out of 25 minutes to win whereas Tony needs to find one opening in 25 minutes to finish. I'm pretty confident he can do it. I won't be shocked no matter who wins but I definitely think Tony will make it a fight.

Out of 22 fights, Khabib has 7 TKO/KO wins and 7 submission wins. And not a single loss. It's not like he's not able to end a fight. And Ferguson is not particularly a powerful puncher, and trying to grapple with The Eagle is not the smartest idea, it could make an easier fight for him.

as long as Khabib is still the same fighter then he should have the title by 2017, provided the UFC doesn't keep giving Conor undeserved title shots.

If Sombo was BJJ, then Khabib wouldn't be the only one talking about it.

This is an incredible match up, style wise, entertainment wise, rankings wise. I find Khabib exciting as shit, him and Cucuy rumbling? Right on

I recognize like 4 of the fighters he finished. I know that isn't a perfect indicator but it's usually pretty reliable. I don't think he can finish top competition. I think Tony showed good power & a great chin in his last two fights & he's shown an active guard. Maybe I'm just really high on Ferguson but I think he has the tools to get it done.
