If Rockhold and Maia go to the ground in an MMA fight, what happens?

Maia is one of the ONLY dudes in MMA who can mess you up from the bottom. Even if he doesn’t get a sub he’ll most likely get a sweep in the transition. Did it to Gunnar, Shields, Masvidal, and countless others.

Also Shields Maia was back and forth. He couldn’t expose himself with GnP in fear of overextending and losing position. They both got too control numerous times using sweeps.

Maia didn't sweep Shields once. Every time he was on top he got there from working his own takedown or sprawling on Shields. The surprises in that fight were that Maia often got the better of the standup wrestling and that Maia was unable to sweep Shields.

Neither the chris, nor machida attempted to tie up luke. I would expect Maia to wrap luke up like a anaconda. As far as Maia winning the fight, thats a stretch.
