.... that would make McGregor and Diaz 1-1. Meaning they will have to settle the score in their third fight. Trilogy.

If McGregor loses again, that means they will have to do a best out of 5. Meaning Edgar will be waiting even longer.

I like it

Edit: Totally unrelated, but does sarcasm translate via the Internet?

The UFC is becoming a bit of a joke to be honest. Mcgregor gets literally anything he wants, no matter how much it means shitting on everyone else. He got outstruck, outgrappled and finished in the 2nd against a decent LW, there is absolutely no reason for a rematch. Meanwhile one of the top 10 fighters of all time can sit on the bench seeing out the end of his prime.

Then when Nate beats him the third time in a row, Dana will dissolve the featherweight division and go for the 7/13. Followed by a reality show called "I'm looking for some fucking gator skin shoes"- which will be a show with Dana and Conor shopping on the strip in Vegas, giving tips on shopping, etc...

No way in hell Nate gets a rematch if he loses. This is a sole measure to rebuild Conors star. Nate is just a player

It's hard not to like Edgar. The guy deserves his shot. Having said that, given the choice and this is just my opinion, I'd
rather pay to watch him fight Nate again. So I'm assuming that the UFC believes there are more people like me out there,
than there are supporting a Edgar/Mcgregor match-up.

Edgar needs to stop ducking Aldo the first fight was great they should do it again @ UFC 200

You don't understand how the UFC works TS.

If this fight is even legit and Conor wins will be even go back to FW? Because if so then there was no reason to have the rematch first. If not then the UFC intentionally screwed that whole division.

And then what, he still gets to skip everyone and still gets a free title shot at 155 or 170? The UFC is screwing over two divisions.

It would be so great if Viacom decided to take advantage and become a major player. I'd love to see half the roster defect to Bellator and watch the UFC lose this of value so they can't sell it. I honestly wouldn't care if the UFC folded after pulling this as long as another organization could step up and replace them.

It does. As you type it, say it in your head sarcastically. Every time I do that, I know I'm being sarcastic.

I would be so fucking pissed if I was Edgar right now.

He doesn't have to worry about a rubber match though, because Nate is going to pack Conor's lunch again. There's only so many games Conor can play with Nate to try and beat him, and now that Nate is going to have a full camp it's going to get ugly.

Conor couldn't do it, so let Frankie go for it. 3 division champion. There's no reason at all to just sit on Frankie and let him waste away. It is so sad to see UFC continuously mishandle fighters careers.
