I like how everyone acts like the HW division was so much better Pride era. The young guys dominated because they were fighting the one dimensional old guard and were roided to the gills lol. Lewis would have been a threat in any era and is constantly underrated because while watching him he may look like dog shit for 90 percent of the fight but he still has the pop to turn your lights out and does so often.

If everyone is roided to the gills than what does it matter?
How can EVERYONE be cheating if we dont know who was on what or if they were both on something or not,and it isnt even against the rules,so no complaints to be made about it.

Curtis Blaydes will definitely shoot a lot of takedowns. It's a no brainer, anyone that doesnt think like that is just kidding themselves or doesnt knoe enough about Blaydes or MMA

Blaydes has been going on about how he will definitely shoot for a takedown and went on about how he wont fall into the trap of grapplers falling in love with their hands causing their demise etc.

Blaydes is a decent fighter but lacks the ability to sell himself to the fans and the UFC. His whole I have a chip on my shoulder routine is becoming tiresome. The dude happily admits to fans before a ppv that he plans on blanketing his opponent to a win lmao.

Blaydes is doing everything he can in his power not make money, fans or being first choice for the next TS.

He seemed to be in a somewhat better shape in his last fight... and he is deceptively durable, he is one of those dudes that are still a big KO threat even in later rounds (see the Volkov fight).

Overall I agree though. The HW division seems to be... not in a good shape. It seems that the top few guys have been there forever, and we have the impression that they are all fighting eachother, over and over again... and none of them is even exciting (apart from Ngannou).
