A lot of people on Sherdog believe that Conor is going to come back and fight the winner of Khabib vs. Tony. I got to say, i am very skeptical when it comes to Conor ever returning to the UFC again. He's sitting on large cheque from the Mayweather fight (Yes not 100 million @UL) and is enjoying himself, why would he wan't to come back (with a bit of Octagon rust) and fight either 1 of these killers.

Conor in the media has literally gone headhunting the 145 Pound fighters. He's mentioned both Max and Frankie on numerous occations.

Let me just say this, even though i give Khabib an edge in this fight, this is not a comfortable decision for me to come to because Tony is just so fucking dangerous and a hard one to write off. Tony and Khabib are 2 of my favorite fighters in UFC period. With that being said i have a feeling that Khabib wins this and Lee beats Barboza and i think it's gonna be :

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Kevin Lee in Moscow. That's my pick.

I hope Conor does come back to really shake shit up but at this moment in time i really don't think so.

Eddie or the winner of Gaethje/Poirier. Kevin is not quite ready yet.
 
Conor. Not Kevin even if he beats Edson he’d still be a little low. So possibly by then Eddie fights winner of Poirér Gaethje and that’s the #1 contender
 
Instant rematch with ferguson, because khabib poked him in the eye im the second
 
khabib vs eddie alvarez would be the best fight assuming conor is not coming back to fight khabib in his first fight. not sure what alvarez is waiting for in terms of booking (maybe hoping for a diaz fight that will never happen). there's not really any LW contenders left for eddie with the barboza-lee and gaethje-poirier matches coming up in april. I guess the likelihood would be either eddie facing poirier (should he beat gaethje which I think he does) or the winner of lee/barboza.

If gaethje beats poirier I don't see him getting the eddie rematch immediately. In my opinion if khabib wins the likely main event in moscow in september will prolly either be khabib/kevin lee or eddie
 
Conor, duh.

I could see Khabib vs Kevin Lee happening after Conor knocks him out and Khabib goes on a quest for a rematch. My prediction is that Lee then beats him as well and then he retires.

In all fairness if Conor wanted to fight, he would of defended his belt vs. Tony right now.

Conor seems more concerned about his profile than actually fighting. I don't see him coming back to fight the winner of this match up.

Would be amazing if Max Holloway vs Ortega winner fights him next . Both claimed they'll fight in LW soon.
 
I will say Conor is 50/50. If not, the I think Kabib will fight Eddie and Conor will fight Nate again.
 
I see Conor wanting a rocky montage training scene in Russia fighting there to take the belt back.

He'll fight the winner later in the year. He's been training for several weeks now, and constantly talking about fighting again later in 2018. He's also in negotiations with the UFC over a new contract that's still ongoing.

If Conor can step in and fight Frankie (like he said himself on his own Social Media). What's stopping him fighting Tony Ferguson for the belt ?

If Khabib pulls out, I don't doubt that he will.
