If Khabib took Conor to the ground he will probably submit him

We've seen it before in cage warriors. Conor was submitted by Duffy so he knew their was a weakness there. Later on in his career he was facing another strong grappler (Dave Hill) so he worked on his grappling with Gunnar Nelson and Kavanagh - end result he submitted Hill.

After Diaz 1 Conor brought in one of the best BJJ talents in the world - Dillon 'Pablo' Danis. A bigger grappler (bigger than gunnar) to help improve his technique - end result is he whooped Nate.

Now I know Khabib is again the flavour of the week but Conor rolls with Danis and Gunnar - two fighters that are not only bigger than Khabib but they also have better grappling pedigrees. If Conor has a full camp with them Khabib will be in danger of being submitted if he takes Conor to the ground. Think about it....an entire camp just focusing on grappling whereas Khabib needs to focus on his striking defense. Conor could stop boxing for 50 years and still outstrike Khabib so that isn't an issue.

Result: If Khabib bum rushes him and doesn't time it well he face plants after being touched on the chin with a well timed counter. If he takes Conor down Conor will probably sweep him and finish him via a guillotine.

i dont really think conor has a relevant chance, conor will probably get ronda`d. conor has only a chance in the first 2 minutes to do something relevant.
barboza is the much better fighter than mcgregor. besides of that, barboza is much taller than conor.
the only challenge i would see for khabib is tony ferguson.

If khabib bumrushes conor throwing sloppy punches he is getting sparked. Whether that will be enough to finish khabib i dont know... but i reckon the russian will be cautious AF in the fight for the first couple rounds.

Maia is world class and a big WW, Gunnar is a small WW. A recipe for disaster.

"Schooled by Shields" - Shields is a high level grappler and bigger than Danis. Shields also trains with some of the best BJJ practitioners in the world. The stupid rule set allowed shields to win. Danis was all over him in that fight.
