first, he wouldn't be fighting conor on a days notice. let's just get that out of the way lmao

conor doesn't have the TDD or gas tank of Al, none of those TD's or trips would be stuffed.

khabib would flatten him out easier than he did al and we all saw how fast conor quits when conor gives up his back.

against a better wrestler than conor, he was getting takedowns whenever he wanted and maintained control easily. only rounds he didn't he went 0 for 1 and 0 for 2 on far away, lazy attempts and proceeded to spam jabs and talk to Al. outstruck the striker 100 to 41 at a distance.

khabib has won 32 straight rounds in the UFC. if he wanted takedowns, he would've kept going for them, not abandon the TD after 1 attempt like he did in round 3. we saw it at the end of round 5 what happened when he wanted them again

khabib won 50-43 and was only hit in the head 25 times over 5 rounds after taking a fight with Al - the better striker as we heard from all the khabib haters before the fight - on 24 hours notice that he was going to be his opponent.

y'all still living on the "IF CONOR STEPS IN THE CAGE" moments. let it go lmao. it's been years and it'll probably be a few more until he runs out of coke money. guy isn't a fighter anymore, he's a TMZ star

Khabib would MAYBE flatten Conor for a round. But just like Mini Mendes, Conor will eventually get back to his feet and put him away easily. His CHIN was WAY in the air. Horrible matchup for Khabib

Only on Sherdog can a fighter win 50-43 and be shitted on for his performance.

khabib has a way better gas tank than conor

conor can't go more than 2 rounds

it's been so long since conor stepped into the cage that y'all forgot what he actually looks like in there lmao

Khabib by decision or Conor by TKO within 2-3 rounds.

I don't see Conor getting back to his feet if he gets taken down by Khabib.

That's not exactly a big revelation. We all know how a Conor vs Khabib fight would play out

Conor still does have a chance though. If he catch Khabib with that left while Khabib is going forward he could rock him. Khabib is very hittable and that's his biggest flaw imho

I don't see why people's opinions of him vs Tony or Conor would change drastically after this fight.

We already knew from the Johnson fight that his striking and takedowns in the open are not as elite as his top game.

Al was practically taking a wrestling stance against Khabib, and even with his Collegiate wrestling background, couldn't stop a single leg.

Conor's only hope is to land a hail Mary left before Khabib shoots in.

Mendez tank is worse than connor and mendez is much smaller. Connors tank is worse than khabib so stalling until he gasses wont work.. obly chance connor has is to catch him coming in.. but thats just a puncher chance.. you can bet in that.. if you want but most people wont. Khabin takes him down at will. Does whay he wants

I think the Khabib that fought last night beats Conor in the first round.

Khabib said himself before and after the fight he wanted to showcase more skills and try to use them, he knew what he could have done decided to stand. Al was too slow at that point and he took advantage.

People were saying this exact dumb shit about how Eddie Alvarez superior wrestling was going to "expose McGregor".

And he fought Mendes with a knee injury.

yup, he fucked alvarez up

but alvarez grappling isn't on Khabib's level. not even close. and conor wasn't exactly the first person to beat eddie

You really comparing Alveraz wrestling to Khabibs.. LUl LUL LUL LUL

Alvarez went for the double leg, Khabib shoots more for a single.. Two hands on one leg is always much better than 1 on a leg.. To easy to slip even in wrestling they teach you to go for singles.. If you shoot the double make sure you go straight to single..

Alvarez did neither.. The fight you really wanna see is Alveraz vs Khabib.. And tell me Khabib don't smash him lol.

I agree with this. And with Connors favoritism in the UFC i doubt the refs would allow Kahbib to lay on him for long. Connor would destroy Kahbib imo after watching last night. Kahbib is a one trick pony.

you know conor is a one trick pony, too, right? no bjj, no wrestling, no clinch, shitty kicks, just good hands.

and when striker vs wrestler goes down, history doesn't favor the guy that needs the KO to win

Of course. I just think Connors trick is more dynamic, and produces more clear cut results.
