They are good with just salt, but blue cheese sauce or regular cheese sause are very good with fries.

What is Ranch? I've tried it at a few places and I don't know if I like it or not. I can't put my finger on what I'm supposed to be tasting.

Blue cheese sauce
Garlic sauce
Mayonnaise
Chilli sauce

Gravy, cold cheddar cheese, cold tuna mayo and pepper on chips or a jacket potato used to be my cheap meal at work, and it was delicious.
