I think it would have dropped him at the very least. Rumble hits like a freaking Mack truck. It's certainly debatable whether it would have put him out cold but I think it would have definitely dropped him. Cormier has an excellent chin himself. Almost any other light-heavyweight would have been on the way to being finished at the very least from that Gustafsson knee, if not put out cold completely. Cormier went on to win the fight.. Great chin and the Rumble shot still dropped him hard.

Something i've noticed in MMA is that the hard bombs like that one can fail to knock the guy out. Is that kind of punch you keep asking yourself how the guy took it. Could drop him i think, but Jones manages distance very well with his arms and fingers, AJ would have a harder time finding that bomb as he did with DC
