What will your opinion be on who is the better fighter? It will still technically have not shown us anything other than JDS can KO anyone.

Wow that would be somerthing lol.

I think it would build this rivalry in the one of the best competitive rivalries in MMA.

It depends on how the fight goes, but I think it would prove Dos Santos is the better fighter.

Thread should be when jds Ko's cain

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a fourth fight then. It would turn the rivalry into pure epicness.

If he kos again him quickly he will be the better fighter. Cain knows what is coming and needs to be prepared for that lightning.

I think it would prove both these guys are killers and it is damn near anyones game on any given night because both are so good.

Cain fans will still claim that it was lucky.

The quick KO is not the point.

The point is where the punch landed, and the fact that Cain was so out of shape and injured.

If JDS lands a clean punch on the jaw of Velasquez in the third fight, then it's completely legit.

I dont think JDS will be the same after this fight, unless he makes some big improvements Cain can do the same thing to him again as can Cormier and possibly Barnett.

JDS has his work cut out for him, his aura is gone and he is beatable.

I wouldnt mind Cormier fighting JDS to see where he is at before Cain since I dont see him beating Cormier if he doesnt improve his entire game and learns how to adjust in fight.

Yep, it shouldn't be a victory if he gets dropped with a punch behind the ear. They should start ruling these fights as no contest or DQ for such a shot, since a legit KO can only be when you get hit straight on the jaw.

Meh imo their styles lend themselves to one dominating the other, or vice versa. I can't see a highly competitive fight between them occuring honestly.

JDS is always going to have the boxing threat, and if he hurts Cain he'll overwhelm him - Cain brawls when he gets hit, he doesn't cover up and because of it he ends up taking more shots. JDS on the other hand is clearly not great off of his backfoot especially when the takedown is present, and Cain is just going to get better at the style he's cultivating. As they are now I see them as really close in over all skill level Cain just came in with a much much better gameplan and Bob Cook obviously did some dedicated tape study and prepared Cain for the weaknesses in JDS's game.

Great post.

I don't know but if Cain was to win another lopsided decision after that we would learn 2 things:

1. In order for JDS to win he has to land that one big punch early.
2. If JDS cant land that one big punch early he will pretty much get dominated by Cain.
