Obama was a Muslim communist anti Christ who was so evil that the right wing repeatedly attempted to shut the govt down as to not work with. And Obamacare was government takeover of healthcare and would have meant death panels.

Clinton on the other hand was running a ring from a pizza restaurant in DC and murdered Americans in Benghazi, for fun, and needed 8 investigations for the admitted purpose of damaging her presidential bid.

These views are held by a significant portion of the republican base. 60% of Trump voters think Obama is a Muslim, despite video evidence of beer drinking, pork eating and muslim bombing.

But apparently investigating admitted collusion with Russia by the Trump campaign is a witch hunt.

In answer to the TS, no it probably wouldn't be as bad. That's because the president is a compulsive liar and has no presidential or leadership qualities from what we have seen thus far.

"Obama was the most divisive president in history" cry the victims on the Right. Why?

The ACA is a market based law. CapnTrade is a market based law. Extending the Bush tax cuts is a republican law. Offering to cut Social Security in a Grand Bargain with the Republicans is hardly democratic, let alone Left Wing.

Remember, Right = market based solutions. Left = government solutions.

If it were another Rrepublican we would be talking about how bad they are from a policy perspective, but Trump has that in the bag plus a huge side order of incompetence and a demeanor fitting for a 13 year old.

In other words, he is way more dangerous than other intelligent and mentally stable Republicans. There is added risk of an unnecessary war, fucking up a necessary reaction to a war or attack, and as we've seen a piss poor reaction to natural disasters. Bush reacted terribly to Katrina, but I think Rubio, Kasich, Romney, etc. would react much better than Trump did to PR.
