I'm pretty sure she can beat Nunes and she can definitely beat Cupcake. Maybe Julianna Pena would be next for the TS then. Holm can beat her too. And I doubt Rousey will be coming back for a second helping of title shot Holm made humble pie.

I'm not a big fan of Pena but I have to agree after her win vs. Zingano. She is relentless.

I think Holm can be champion again. But it's hard to imagine any of these women holding that belt for long. Since Rousey was knocked out, it's been a hot potato.

Tate has good takedowns and pretty decent striking and was outclassed badly on the feet. Made quick work of McMann, as well. Pena's almost solely a grappler, so she'll have trouble with Rousey, Holm, Nunes and Tate, but has the best chance against Nunes since she's faded a couple of times.

Holm is a former champ who lost in the 5th round of a title fight If she beats shevchenko you best believe she deserves a title shot

But if I know the UFC like I think I do they will keep Holm away from the title picture so Ronda can come back and challenge for the title

Holm has a tough fight coming up with Shenchenko. I think she will win.

Assuming she does, Holm vs. Pena would be interesting, I would favor Holm.

But then, who does Nunes fight next? I would rather see Holm fight Nunes next - IF Holm wins Saturday.

The people that always suggest these are also proposing having about one title fight per year. Do they not realize this ?

It's fucking ridiculous. Holly has a fight coming up. Then she's supposed to wait to fight Pena months from now. Then the winner waits many more months for the title fight. Meanwhile Nunes is ??? Twiddling her thumbs ?

These number one contender fights are complete bullshit. Worst fucking idea ever. Championship fights need to be a maximum of 6 months apart, barring injury. Otherwise interest dies pretty easily. Out of sight, out of mind.
