If faber loses is there any way he ever gets another shot at the belt?

Keep in mind the question is not, is he deserving of another shot after this (we all know the answer to that).

Is there any realistic way for him to get another one?
 
Yeah he's Urijah Faber. Master of getting titleshots
 
I like Faber as a fighter, but there needs to be a limit to title shots, barring a 6 fight win streak or something spectacular.

Faber needs to do that even more than others as he's gone, since losing WEC title, 1 win, title fight, 1 win, title fight, 2 wins, title fight, 1 win, interim title fight, 4 wins (this time he deserved one), title fight, 2 wins, lose, 1 win, title fight.

He's had more than enough chances after limited wins, there may not be 1,000 guys in the division worthy of title shots, but things may just need to get like Flyweight where everyone gets a shot.
 
For him to get another one, there would need to be a situation where Dillashaw gets the belt and there is no other challenger ready. He's never going to be a top 3 ranked fighter ever again.
 
No, but he could fight for the Mcgregor Belt one day if Conor loses a couple more fights.
 
Like sherdog radio said.. if tj somehow wins the belt and uriah beats a couple of fringe top 10 guys. Wouldn't surprise me at all if a tj vs urijah fight happens

Let him beat the next two guys he faces and have TJ holding the belt. Oh he'd get that shot, it would be too juicy.
 
Sure he could, if he keeps on winning. As long as the dude's in the top 5 of his weight class he can always get a titleshot if the timing/wins are right. Esspecially if Cruz is not the champ.
 
Logically i'd say no... But there usually isn't any logic in Urijah title shots :p
 
He has to have the record by now for most titles fights in the ufc without winning the title.

That being said, I'm a fan and don't mind since he's only ever lost one non title fight
 
He will need to cut down to 125 and convince ppl that 135 is his natural weight and now hes cutting.

The real question is: Is there any way he doesn't get another shot at the belt?
