Nothing is ever "safe" when it comes to goat discussions. Subjective element is always going to be there.

I can see DC being rightfully in the mix for that discussion if he beats Stipe, that's for sure.

I'm not sure there even is such a thing as a "clean Jones"...I would think once dirty always dirty, no? I've done steroids and once you stop taking them the effects don't just disappear overnight, I kept a lot of my gains and strength. The recovery is no longer there relatively soon after stopping though.

It doesn't matter what Jones was on, we saw DC lose twice.

You can't erase that. No GOAT contender has to deal with "But fighter X was on PEDS". Why? Because they didn't lose in the first place.

At best, DC is #2 LHW of all time and even that is a stretch.
