If Cormier says that he still wants to fight Jones at UFC 200 then he should be allowed to so he doesn't miss his payday. Why punish him by not letting him still take the fight if he were to say he still wants to fight Jones anyway? That way the fans also don't get punished. They can still punish Jones by fining him or suspending him after the Cormier fight. Just don't punish the innocent along with the guilty.

Because then they will have no champion... Again. And cormier will win his second belt afterward, this one made of double paper

The nevada state athletic commission would never allow that.

Plus Jones will never fight in the knowledge he ain't getting paid for it

I love how so many people think this fight should happen and that USADA should be dropped and all that nonsense.

See what happens if they drop USADA, against the objections of the NSAC, we'll have another situation like the MLB where the Govt. comes in and forces more regulation of the sport.

They bought USADA in as a counter measure to the growing call for more testing and that there was a huge number of cheating fighters, to dump them after one of their biggest fighters gets caught would look like a major coverup.

They just need to not announce this shit until after the fights.

That's what WWE does and it works. That way the fans don't get screwed and the cheater still gets suspended after the fight.
